Step 2: The dashboard data

• Open this spreadsheet

• Make a copy of the spreadsheet (File -> Make a copy)

• Rename the new spreadsheet to "Violations"

• Star the new spreadsheet (you can close the template spreadsheet you made a copy of)

• In the new spreadsheet, click on Extensions -> Visata for Rent Manager -> Open sidebar (not seeing this option?)

• Create a new query

  • Name: "Violations"

  • Entity: Violations

  • Sheet: Violations

  • Headers: Default

  • Refresh: Daily, 2 AM to 3 AM

  • Columns:

    • In the Violations sheet, notice the orange columns. Now add exactly the same columns in the sidebar one by one.

• Click Save

• Click Run query

Save as data sources

• Open this link

• Click the copy button:

• Click Copy Data Source

• Close the tab with the template data source you copied

• Click STARRED

• Choose the spreadsheet we just created (Violations)

• Choose the Violations worksheet

• Leave the options as is

• Click Reconnect

• Click Apply

• In the top left corner, rename the data source to take out "Copy of [TEMPLATE] "
