Step 3: Copy the dashboard
The link you opened in the last step opens the dashboard template in Looker Studio.
Click the three dots, and then click Make a copy
Choose your new data sets (NOTE: you may need to reload the page a couple times or even clear the cache if you're not seeing one of your new data sources in the dropdown)
Click Copy Report
Yay! Your dashboard should be showing your data!
NOTE: Please get familiar with your new dashboard! The more familiar you get with Looker Studio, the more you'll be able to customize your dashboards to suit your exact data and needs. If you don't want to make changes for now, go ahead and click the blue View button in the top right to enter view mode.
Sharing settings
Make sure to change the sharing settings or add specific users so the dashboard can be viewed by the people who need to access it.
Embed the dashboard
At this point you can embed the dashboard anywhere you would like. We recommend using Google Sites if you don't already have a company portal. It's completely free for anyone! You can also use Microsoft SharePoint if your company uses Microsoft Teams.
Here's how to embed in Google Sites:
Open your Looker Studio dashboard
Click the down arrow next to the Share button
Click Embed report
Click Enable embedding
Click Embed URL
Copy the URL
In your google sites, hover over the new page button and click Full page embed
Name your page
Click Add embed
Paste your embed URL and click insert
