Step 2: The dashboard data
Lease Renewals
Open this spreadsheet
Make a copy of the spreadsheet (File -> Make a copy)
Rename the new spreadsheet to take out "Copy of [TEMPLATE] "
Star the new spreadsheet (you can close the template spreadsheet you made a copy of)
In the new spreadsheet, click on Extensions -> Visata for Rent Manager -> Open sidebar (not seeing this option?)
Create a new query
Name: "Lease Renewals"
Entity: Lease Renewals
Sheet: Lease Renewals
Headers: Default
Refresh: Daily, 2 AM to 3 AM
Columns:
In the Lease Renewals sheet, notice the orange columns. Now add exactly the same columns in the sidebar one by one.
Add a filter to the End Date column to be greater than or equal to cell A2 in the Params sheet.
Click Save
Click Run query
Create a new query
Name: "Unit Types"
Entity: Unit Types
Sheet: Unit Types
Headers: Default
Refresh: Daily, 2 AM to 3 AM
Columns:
In the Unit Types sheet, notice the orange columns. Now add exactly the same columns in the sidebar one by one.
Click Save
Click Run query
Save as data sources
Open this link
Click the copy button:
Click Copy Data Source
Close the tab with the template data source you copied
Click STARRED
Choose the spreadsheet we just created (Lease Renewals)
Choose the Lease Renewals worksheet
Leave the options as is
Click Reconnect
Click Apply
In the top left corner, rename the data source to take out "Copy of [TEMPLATE] "
